Surfing online anonymously

December 21st, 2009 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in hide ip, Proxy server, VPN service

There is a major parallel service being offered and utilized on the World Wide Web, which not many are aware of, but which therefore serves its own purpose. This is the ability to surf the internet anonymously. Keeping one’s identity hidden from online probes and identity detectors is possible. Many websites and applications offer this service, and include free trials too.

Yes, it is possible to send anonymous e mails without sending your IP address with the help of proxies, VPNs and Paid Proxy Services. These services allow you various features depending upon each one. These may be the ability to control the Java script, disabling or intercepting cookies, options for SSL encrypting of all your web traffic, encrypting of all URLs, including URLs of images, Style sheets, Java Script files, multimedia and more. You can hide the name of the website from the memory of your browser, disable browser caching as well as manage your own private bookmarks. There are plenty of other services and options offered by these proxies and VPN services.

These are useful because most companies keep a tab on the employee communications while at work. Therefore, anonymously surfing the web at work can be a smart thing to do. Also, you can bypass many restrictions that companies have on certain websites with the help of such tools. You can also utilize these services for when you do not want your family members or house mates to know about the various websites that you visit. Whatever your reason, keeping your identity safe on the web and also hiding away your browser memory can be done as mentioned.

Many websites offer this service. Prominent among these is hidemyass.com, behidden.com, proxymafia.net, proxy2hide.com, proxify.com and netcloak.com. there are many more, of course, and a simple browser search will let you know more. Hidemyass not only changes and hides your IP address, it also offers to hide your identity from hackers, insecure connections, online identity thefts and lots more. It has Pro VPN, free web proxy services, IP: PORT proxies, free file and image hosting, free anonymous email and anonymous search too.

For VPN proxy service, there are certain websites like hideipvpn.com, vpnprivacy.com, blacklogic.com, megaproxy.com, trilightzone, vpnmessenger and vpnaccounts.com, which offer you their VPN services to access safely various websites, browser searches, videos, music online as well as to send anonymous e mails. Encryption and security procedures are employed to make these services totally safe, anonymous and protected. The paid VPN services even offer technical support and customer care in case of any questions, problems or emergencies. Most of these do not even need installation of any special software. Off shore proxies are also available.

VPN Service Providers

December 21st, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Proxy server, VPN service

VPN is the short form of Virtual Personal Network. A Virtual Personal Network is a personalized, remote connection with a safe and secure connection to access the World Wide Web and one’s own computer like as if it was right at home. When looking for a suitable Virtual Personal Network provider, there are certain factors which need to be looked into. These are as follows:

If you want to simply browse the internet in an anonymous form, such facilities are provided for free or for marginal fee by various VPN providers like HideIpVPN, HideMyAss, Trilight and Netcloak.com. A quick search on any popular browser or search engine like Google can help you locate any such website which provides these services for free on a trial basis. Then, if you feel that you would like to buy access or that your requirement for this service is high enough, you can go for the commercial paid VPN service which offers a lot more advanced features, depending upon the plan you purchase or the original VPN offers.

Of course, if you are not the type of person who would require regular anonymous excursions into the World Wide Web, you may not need to go for a paid VPN service at all. Free access is also suitable for those whose main aim is to have an anonymous browse time and for those who, for certain reasons best known to them, would just once in a while like to surf certain websites without disclosing either their own identity or would like to hide the name of the website from their browser’s history. The anonymity offered is minimal but often enough for their purposes. Free VPN includes Wippien, iPIG or iOpus Private Internet Gateway, OpenVPN, tinc, SSL Explorer with its community edition, BirdsSoft VPN-X Client and LogMeln Hamachi.

If, on the other hand, someone wanted to send anonymous e mails on a regular basis, or would like a wider choice of server locators, then they should ideally go for a paid VPN service. Paid VPNs obviously offer a lot of advantages over the free services. These include features like hiding server locations, providing a wide choice of proxy server locations, offering proxy IP addresses which can be either shared or dedicated, strong SSL or TLS cryptography with cryptographic protocols, defined terms of services and increased safety. A few of the paid VPN services are provided at  hideipvpn.com, vpngates.com, strongvpn.com, blacklogic.com, perfect-privacy.com, torrentfreedom.com, yourprivatevpn.com and flashvpn.com to name but just a few.

Specifics of the services offered by a VPN provider depend upon the VPN service itself, but a few general services are anonymity, bypassing of blocked websites and a secure anonymous IP address.

Proxy Server and its purpose

June 17th, 2009 by admin | 2 Comments | Filed in Proxy server

A proxy server is a server that acts between users networks and the Internet for seeking resources from other servers. A proxy users connects to the proxy server through a browser initiating access request to some web page, or other resource, available from a different server. The web proxy server analyze and evaluates the request as per its filtering rules such as it may filter traffic by IP address or protocol. If the request gets validated, the proxy provides the resource by connecting to the relevant server and requesting the service on behalf of the user. A web proxy server may modify or adjust the users request or the server’s response, and it may even serve the request without contacting the specified server.

In this case, it ‘caches’ responses from the remote server, and returns consequent requests for the same content straight way. The purpose of a proxy server is to keep the machines unidentified for security reason and to expedite access to a resource by caching web pages from the web server.

A proxy server can be located in the user’s local computer or at diverse points between the user and the destination servers or the Internet. A reverse proxy is a proxy used as a front-end to accelerate and cache in-demand resources like the web pages. However while choosing a proxy server you should choose the proxy list only based on quality parameters of proxy servers.

Reverse Proxy Server

June 16th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Proxy server

A reverse proxy is a proxy server, which is installed in the region of one or more web servers, as resultant all web traffic coming from the Internet and with a destination of one of the server goes through the proxy server. It set off in-bound network traffic to a set of servers, presenting a single interface to the caller. There are a number of reasons for installing reverse proxy servers:

·Security: the proxy server may provide an extra layer of security by separating or concealing the type of server that is behind the reverse proxy. This configuration may protect the servers further up the chain by making communication intentionally ambiguous.

·Encryption / SSL acceleration: when secure websites are created, the SSL encryption is occasionally not done by the Web server itself, but with a reverse proxy that is being equipped with SSL acceleration hardware the purpose is being solved.

·Load distribution: the reverse proxy can distribute the load to several servers, each server serving its own application area and the proxy may have to rewrite the URLs in each webpage.

·Caching: A reverse proxy can delegate the Web servers by caching static content, such as images, as well as dynamic content, such as a HTML-page deliverd by a content management system. Proxy caches can reduce the load on the central web server.

·Firmness: Since the proxy server relays connection requests for inbound network traffic therefore it can optimize and compress the content to speed up the load time.
